    1. How often does Match & Style display new items?

    Our collection is updated on a bi-weekly basis to ensure that we always bring you the most unique items.  

    2. Are you sustainable / environmentally friendly? 

    Definitely. One of our main values is to contribute in making fashion a more sustainable industry, this is done through our pre-owned collection as we extend the life cycle of luxury products by reselling. Additionally, through our Sustainable Fashion Corner we ensure that we provide you with ethical, handmade, and environmentally conscious products.

    All our packaging is made from recyclable paper.

    Local Orders (within Qatar)

    We ship all across Qatar within 1-2 working days.

    International Orders  

    We offer express worldwide international shipping through DHL and Aramex.

    FAQ - PRE-OWNED COLLECTION

    GENERAL

    1. What does Match & Style grading system means?

    Match & Style grades the items based on 4 main categories as follows:

    • New: the item has not been used.
    • Excellent: slightly used with no signs of usage.
    • Very Good: slightly used with slight signs of usage (minor discoloration, or changes in the leather condition).
    • Good: used with signs of usage (obvious mark/s or color fading).

    Kindly note that we do not accept items below "Good" to ensure our quality standards are met.

    2. Where does Match & Style source their range of pre-owned designer collection?

    Currently, we only accept items from local sellers in Qatar to ensure proper investigation is done from our side and to ensure the authenticity / quality of the item/s. We are working to expand our network of sellers to give a chance for others to consign with us within the upcoming years as our team and network grows.


    3. What other services do you offer?

    We provide authentication service for your designer items using Entrupy’s state-of-the-art authentication machine which is powered by a combination of machine learning and computer vision, enabled by a proprietary database of millions of images of authentic and counterfeit products collected from all over the world.

    4. How do you authenticate the items? 

    In addition to our network of connections within the luxury brands, long-term experience of our team within the luxury fashion market, Match & Style is a registered company with Entrupy and we use their authentication device to authenticate the handbags and provide the authentication certificate.

    5. What happens if my item was proven to be fake?

    We take this matter very seriously as we honor and value the integrity of the designer’s work, therefore we offer a 100% refund for any item that is proven to be fake.

    6. Are prices open to negotiation? (do we bargain?)

    No, prices are fixed, however we do have special offers from time to time for our subscribers and existing customers.

    7. Can I view and inspect the item before choosing to buy it?

    This service is only available to our local customers in Qatar at the moment. You have 6 hours to inspect and return the item.

    For our international customers, if you wish to get additional peace of mind on your orders you may contact our team via Instagram DM or WhatsApp and they will be happy to share additional videos/images. 

    8. Can I cancel / return / refund / exchange an item if i’m unhappy?

    9. Does the original branded packaging come with my purchase?

    For our pre-owned designer items, this will be mentioned on the product page. Not all items will come with original packaging, however, we provide our own branded dust/garment bags and boxes with every item. 

    10. Payment methods?

    We accept all major debit/credit cards on our website, bank transfers and SkipCash. 

    Please note that for bank transfers, we process your order once the amount is received.

    Consignors "Sellers" 

    1. How can I sell through you? 

    Email (info@matchandstyle) or WhatsApp (00974 3393 9977) a photo of your item/s along with all the details and our team will be happy to assist you.


    2. Do you pay me upfront or after the sale is done? If so, How long does it take to receive the money after the sale is done?

    We sell your item on a consignment basis, once the item is sold, our team will contact you to arrange the transfer method. Payment takes 5 to 10 business days. 

    3. How do you decide on the value of my item?  

    The pricing depends on each product, the condition, the current retail price.

    4. How do I get paid?

    Through bank transfers. Our team will contact you to confirm the bank details once your item is sold.

    5. What kind of items do you accept to display?

    Currently we accept women handbags and leather goods.

    6. What is your policy with regards to counterfeit / fake items?

    If a Consigner submits a fake item to be sold, the Consigner will immediately be black listed by Match & Style and will not be able to consign with us in the future. Additionally, the Consigner will be responsible for the full delivery fees for the return. If an item is proven to be counterfeit post sale, the Consigner will be liable to pay the full refund of the sale price payment received in addition to a penalty fee of QR 5,000 per item to Match & Style.

    7. How long will my item be displayed on your platforms?

    3 months, after the first 3 months our team will contact you and you may choose to renew your contract for another 3 months at the same price, withdraw your item, or put it on sale (return is free of charge). 

    8. Where can I find repair shops for my designer items? 

    This will depend on your country of residence, however below are some well-known recommended repairers.

    Blanc is a sustainable, tech-powered company that offers a non-toxic alternative to conventional dry cleaning, alongside alterations and more aftercare services.

    New York

    Shopboy specializes in a full range of alterations and repairs for men and women with on-site services provided by their master tailors.

    Sydney

    SoleHeeled offers specialized repairs and restorations on leather jackets and accessories such as shoes, handbags, belts and wallets.

    United Arab Emirates

    The Cobbler is a premium, traditional leather expert with locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and a collection service throughout the UAE. It provides expert shoe restoration, repair and cleaning services.

    Delicates has been involved in the After Care and Restoration of all kind of clothing, bridal couture, leather goods and accessories from brands like Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Saint Laurent, Valentino and many more. You may find them in Dubai, Bloomingdales Store.
